This year has been challenging and heart-breaking, to say the least. We cannot control the outcome but we can and should absolutely control our outlook and the attitude we spread no matter what is going on in the world.
It is important we are in tune with ourselves and acknowledge our emotions -- good or bad. I may not be the person that will come up with a solution to worldly challenges, but I can be the person to make my family, friends, neighbours, customers feel loved, appreciated, and supported. That’s a small way to make the world a better place and I’d like to share some ideas with you:
- Send a text to a friend
- Call your parents
- Make dinner for your best friend
- Ask your husband to go on a date with you
- Do some baking with your kids
- Let your customers know you appreciate them
Sometimes we may also need to do a little random act of kindness for ourselves, too! Take a nap, buy yourself some flowers, take the time to listen to what’s on your heart…because the better we feel, the better we can make the people around us feel.
